About Hannes Egger
Hannes Egger, born 1981 in Lana, South Tyrol, is a contemporary artist known for his conceptual and interdisciplinary approach. He studied philosophy at the University of Vienna and at ‘La Sapienza’ in Rome.

Egger's work encompasses various media such as performance, installation and participatory projects. He often explores social and cultural themes, actively involving the viewer in his art. A central concern of his works is to raise awareness of space, community and interactions between people.

He has shown his work in numerous international exhibitions and realised projects in public spaces. Hannes Egger lives and works in South Tyrol, where he also works as a curator and editor.
