As part of Lana Meets Jazz, a concert was also held at the Hotel Schwarzschmied on 14 June. Titti Castrini Band feat. Alan Farrington (I) played international folk songs and swing of the 50s from Gorny Kramer to their own chansons.


Titti Castrini began studying the button accordion at the age of 9 and took part in national and international competitions. Meeting Maestro Ivano Scattolini, an accordionist from Mantua with gypsy origins, had a decisive influence on his playing style: the reality of people's lives, the streets, nightclubs, theatres and parties are images and inspirations that are reflected in the songs.

Alan Farrington is an English singer, bassist and guitarist with an Italian mother who was born in a village near Liverpool. In 1974 he was called to play in the United States with his band. In Maryland he attended a renowned vocal school to make his voice more intense and expressive. After his time in the USA, he moved to Italy. In the course of his career, he was involved in a number of important formations and successful bands.
